Our Story: Uniting Ugandan Footballers Across Europe & Beyond
The Euro Cranes Association is a unique football league that brings together Ugandan football teams based in Europe and America. Founded in 2018, our association celebrates the spirit of the Uganda Cranes by uniting former Ugandan league players now residing abroad. Through our annual Euro Cranes Tournament, we foster sportsmanship, cultural exchange, and community connections.
History
The Euro Cranes Association was founded in 2018 by a group of passionate Ugandan footballers living in Europe. What began as a small tournament with five teams—Germany Cranes, Denmark Cranes, Belgium Cranes, Netherlands Cranes, and Sweden Cranes—has now grown into a major event with nine teams, including Norway Cranes, Finland Cranes, America Cranes, and the newly joined United Kingdom Cranes.
